WebGeneric records first-party website activity to understand which pages people use and how enquiries reach us. Admin pages are excluded from this tracking.

Website activity

We record page views, visits, sessions, active time, scroll depth, interactions, CTA clicks, landing and exit pages, referrer, campaign parameters, device and browser details, language, timezone, IP address, and country, region and city when trusted server data is available. We use random browser and session identifiers to connect a journey. Automated bot traffic is marked and excluded from human conversion figures.

Enquiries and incomplete forms

Submitted enquiries include the contact details and message you provide, the product or service, submission page, referral and campaign context, and technical details such as IP address and country where available. For forms started but not submitted, we record field names and whether each field was completed or missing, validation attempts, and abandonment; the analytics tracker does not save entered field values. Password, payment and authentication fields are excluded. Non-converted incomplete form records are deleted after 90 days.

How we use this information

We use this information to respond to enquiries, improve the site and its forms, and understand website performance. The private admin workspace is restricted to authorized staff and is excluded from website tracking. Google Tag Manager may also operate on public pages, but does not run on admin pages.
